This is out 8th year supporting Pacific Crest Trail days and we invite you to join us at the event. In 2005 I hiked from Mexico to Canada on the 2,658 mile Pacific Crest Trail and this experience was a big part of my inspiration for starting Portland Bike Tours. I will always be thankful for those who have helped create a path for others to explore and would like to contribute the same to my community. Join us in supporting the work of tireless advocates and volunteers that help create awareness and appreciation for our natural wild areas. – Evan “Manimal” Ross

Camping is free on Thunder Island and available on a first-come, first-served ba- sis. Attendees may bring a small camp stove, but no charcoal or large open flame grills are allowed. Dogs are permitted, but please only bring those that are friendly and be sure to bring bags for their waste. by calling 541.374.8619.) Local food & beverage vendors will be on-hand and there are several restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance of the event site.
Cascade Locks is 42 miles east of Portland and 20 miles west of Hood River just off I-84. From I-84, take the Cascade Locks exit, Thunder Island/Marine Park is a left just off of WaNaPa (Main) Street. Parking at the event site is free.
