A Talk in the Park
WHAT IS A TALK IN THE PARK?
A Talk in the Park is an opportunity for a small group of neighbors to sit down with a notable professional and discuss topics that are central to the mission of Sunday Parkways. These topics include Community Building, Alternative Transportation and Healthy Lifestyles.
The talks include:
– A one hour round-table discussion with a community leader
– Each talk is limited to only 15 people
– Takes place after the Sunday Parkways event (that after noon on a future evening)
– Topic questions or thinking points given to you prior to your shift
– Snacks and drinks will be provided
You have the great chance to talk about Business by Bike with EVAN!
Ice cream, soup, or coffee by bike or trike… How many ways do Portlanders move business by bike? Join Evan Ross for a discussion of the future of bike based enterprise in Portland.
Here’s some background information about:
Evan Ross owns and operates Portland Bicycle Tours. He also co-founded and is Head of the Board of the Bicycle Business League in Portland. The BBL is a non-profit organization with a goal of supporting bicycle related policies, and infrastructure, that foster a growing bicycle culture in Portland.

Sunday Parkways in North Portland on June 27.
Evans time to talk is 4:00-5:00 pm.
