I did both the brewery tour and the foodie tour and both were great! The guides are very friendly and very knowledgeable, and love to share their knowledge of the local area. We loved our brew tour with Guthrie, who is a wonderful and friendly guide. After a very thorough and appreciated security briefing, we cycled to the Lucky Labrador and Base Camp breweries while stopping for some sights of Portland. Though there was only the two of us on the tour, we weren’t asked to pay extra for a private tour. This is a highly recommended tour and shop. I tried several bike hire and bike tour places whilst visiting PDX and this was my favorite by far. The prices are very reasonable (and I had a 10% discount as I was a guest at the Society Hotel) and the city tour was excellent. Keegan was an awesome guide and really knows his stuff. Rented a road bike to get my triathlon training in while in town and was able to avoid having to do a 4 hour training ride on the stationary at the hotel. Everyone was very nice. They took as much time as I needed to get properly fitted to a bike and provided me with everything I needed (since the only thing I actually brought was bike shorts). They were even able to provide me with a nice, simple route to get a 50 mile ride. So glad I looked into renting. Had no idea I would be able to find a place that rented road bikes so easily. We had an awesome time with Cycle Portland. They provided good light weight bikes and the tour guide did an awesome job leading the way, keeping everyone together, giving us nice roads to bike through and showing us some Fantastic food at the same time.
